| Last weekend my inlaws and my little family went to the Philadelphia Zoo. It is the oldest zoo in America (1859) and I expected it to be a little run down. This being my first trip to a cold-weather zoo I'm not sure what I expected by the way of animals. I have to say we were pleasantly suprised. From the ticket price ($1 to the food to the layout, upkeep, cleanliness, everything about the zoo was great. They have done a good job with it. It was a beautiful day, perfect. We had a really good time and it was just a 20 min drive from my house to the other side of the city. |
